In the last 50 to 70 years, incredible new evidence has surfaced to help prove that the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the Holy Bible is true.  In this updated and revised 3^rd edition of The Amazing Evidence you will be provided some of the latest discoveries which help give proof for the truth of God, His Son – Jesus and the Holy Spirit.  It is my hope that as you read this latest material, you will be so AMAZED by it that it will become clear to you that it takes significantly more faith not to believe in the Trinity of the Godhead – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit – then to believe!

As an example, the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1948 gave biblical scholars a view to compare the latest Bibles to the word of God that had been preserved through the ages.  The validity and accuracy of the Dead Sea Scrolls were confirmed when the Copper Scroll pinpointed the exact location where the Holy Anointing Oil could be found.  And most significant, one of the scrolls even presented the concept of two Messiah’s, even before Jesus came on the scene in His first advent.  This scroll therefore acts as a confirmation for the New Testament as a part of today’s modern Bible which tells about the first coming of Jesus and the formation of His Church.

Also, we find the latest discoveries in astronomy give solid evidence for our cosmos being created, which could only have occurred through a divine Creator!  So strong is this evidence that we even hear one astrophysicist exclaiming, “It’s like looking at God!” after new measurements had just come in from the COBE satellite regarding the origin of our universe.  On top of this, we can also add new archeological discoveries that give proof for the discovery of Noah’s Ark, Sodom & Gomorrah and the true route of Exodus.  I believe that any reader of such material will be in awe regarding these discoveries. 

Then, we have the more supernatural evidence such as the Shroud of Turin, the cloth purported to be the burial cloth of Jesus.  Upon it is a 3-D image of a crucified man that cannot be scientifically replicated, even to this day!  Moreover, the STURP team of scientists found pollen spores in the linen that composes the Shroud known to exist only in Israel.  Read what one of the leading scientists had to say about the cloth after his team spent over 150,000 man hours studying and researching the Shroud.

I have included with this “Introduction” a short synopsis of each chapter below so you can more easily apprise yourself of each chapter’s content.  Each chapter is independent of each other, so feel free to read whatever chapter interests you the most.  However, I believe you will be extremely blessed if you were to read all the chapters.  I believe this because the Lord has so allowed mankind to not only prove Him, but more important, for the purpose of magnifying His glory, works and goodness upon His creation.  And that’s you and I. 

Chapter I, “Is There Life After Death”

Provides testimonies of individuals who have experienced true clinical death who then travel to a place most like heaven and then come back to life to share their story.  These experiences, known as Near Death Experiences (NDEs), are incredibly unique in that the testimonies from millions of such subjects weave a common framework of similar characteristics experienced by all in this group.  What is even more amazing is that as their testimonies are compared to the Holy Bible, we find scriptural basis to their experiences as it relates to these extra-dimensional abodes.

Chapter II, “The Shroud of Turin”

Considers the Shroud of Turin, a cloth that originated from Israel and has the image of a crucified man upon it.  Moreover, the latest color photographs taken by a group of scientists show a man that has all the crucifixion wounds that Jesus experienced as given in the scriptures, including a crown of thorns! Nowhere in the world does such an image exist on cloth.  This chapter seeks to determine whether this artifact is authentic or a fraud.  Other relevant facts determined by the STURP group that investigated the Shroud makes this a very important artifact.

Chapter III, “New Archeological Discoveries”

Gleans over the breathtaking discoveries made by biblical archeologist Ron Wyatt. Read how God led Ron Wyatt to the sites of Noah’s Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah, the actual route of Exodus, Mt. Sinai and more!  These are some of the most exciting archeological discoveries made within the last forty years. Chapter IV, “What Do the Dead Sea Scrolls Say?”

By combining various sequences of the Hebrew text, word pairs were found to be predictive and formed names of people, places and events. Read how the capacity to embed so many, meaningfully related and randomly selected word pairs in a text with coherent surface meaning is beyond the capability of any human being. This conclusively indicates that the authorship of the Bible is divine.  Also, read about the most recent discovery of the Hebrew name of Jesus, Yesuha, being found in the Old Testament by ELS analysis. This is the capstone that ties the hope of Messiah to Jesus who has come before and will come again to set up His soon coming kingdom on earth.

Chapter VI, “Creation of Space and Time”

Examines the origin of the universe we live in and time we now experience. For the very first time in history mankind is shown, by the tools of science, that God created the universe, space and time from the multi-dimensions that He exists in. This has been proven by data received from the numerous satellites and the discovery of sub-atomic particles which prove the work of astrophysicists such as Einstein, Hawking, Penrose and Ellis. We find these multi-dimensions give rise to the existence of heaven, God’s omniscience, the resurrection, God’s omnipotence, etc. This new information also negates all “man-made” religions that believe that the universe is infinite and time is eternal. This is some of the strongest scientific evidence to date which proves God as the Sovereign Creator! 

Chapter VII, “In the Beginning”

Investigates the conflict between evolution and creation science.  Find out that the theory of evolution is not only weak but it also has been falsified. Proof of this is given as most evolutionary “ape” ancestors have been concocted and are now classified as frauds. For example, in the infamous “Monkey Trials” of 1925, attorney and atheist Clarence Darrow used evidence of a tooth, thought to be from an extinct man found in Nebraska, in his case against the biblical teaching of creation science. Only later was it revealed that the evidence attorney Darrow used was actually the tooth an extinct pig! Because of this trial, the teaching of Biblical creationism was eventually replaced by evolutionary theory in our public schools. However, after surveying the evidence, you will find the tenets of basic science disproves the theory of evolution and instead supports creation. X. My Testimony
