Old Testament Prophecies That
Predict the Coming of Jesus
“Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead (on) the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations beginning in Jerusalem.” - Luke 24: 46-47.
We have powerfully shown in Chapter V – “A Divine Author” that by scientific mathematical probability, it is impossible to predict the coming of Jesus by mere chance alone. By taking eleven prophesies, there would only be a 1 x 10 chance, raised to the 19th power that someone could guess that Jesus would show up on earth as the scriptures state. Or said in another way; there is only one chance in 10 thousand quadrillion, that Jesus’ coming could have been simply predicted by chance alone. This mathematical outcome statistically states this is impossible.
Based on the principles of pure math, the principles that has allowed mankind to land on the moon, invent the atomic bomb, and all the amazing inventions that we have come to see in our lifetimes renders only one conclusion: the word of God is true.
Incredibly, the Old Testament does not just contain eleven prophesies regarding the first coming of Jesus. It contains over 300! Hence, 300 divided by 11 makes the case for divine intervention over 27x greater. Can you see how impossible it is for such a prediction to occur?

They are given as proof for your benefit so you too can be convinced without doubt that Jesus is Who He claims to be. Please believe Him, for He is the key to life and death forevermore (Rev. 1: 18).
